Our Newfoundland Dog
Memphis is a Landseer Newfoundland, born February 27, 2009. Memphis came from HunterHill Kennel near Mount Forest Ontario. She lives in the Toronto neighbourhood known as Longbranch with Mister Anchovy, Tuffy P and cats Jerry, Delia, Rossi, Spud, Shadow and Jacques.

Wrestling ranks close to mud puddles on the doggie list of fun things to do. Scout the border collie sometimes meets up with a bruiser of a black lab aptly named Samson in the woods and they wrestle Sumo style. They stand on their back legs, grab each other and push. I think the rules are that whichever pushes the other off the path wins. Scout is hopelessly overmatched but after each bout they have a round of catch me if you can where Scout gets even, and then its right back to the wrestling.
